Mrs. K.T.L. Vaughan has been extremely helpful to me since I started at UNC in 2008. I am director of a 5 semester lab sequence in the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Mrs. Vaughan has been integral in our strategic planning of how we teach drug information resources/databases to our students. She has also collaborated on a research project with me about how students view low health literacy in patients. Her continuing support of our School is invaluable.
Be one of the first to share your story, long or short, about why you love the HSL. Maybe you’ve had an interaction with a librarian that helped you with a paper or research. Maybe you want to share your favorite place to study (or sleep) in the library. Perhaps you and your classmates used our study rooms to collaborate on a successful project. Or maybe you used our conference rooms for an important meeting or class. Whatever it is, we want to hear from you – faculty, students, staff, alumni, and anyone else who uses HSL’s resources or services. So go on…spread the love! 🙂
On Thursday May 6th HSL hosted its 3rd Annual Student Research Day to celebrate the graduations of Xiaomei Gu (Graduate Assistant in User Services), Carrie Dundas-Lucas (former GA in NC Health Info), Kristin White (former GA in NC Health Info), and Liza Cahoon (Information Associate in User Services).
